Before TrueOdds sent a single pick to a single subscriber, we ran the algorithm against fifteen full seasons of historical sports data — covering thousands of games across MLB, NBA, Soccer, and Tennis.
The backtesting used the same EV formula, the same confidence thresholds, and the same pick locking rules that the live system uses today. No lookahead bias. No curve fitting. The same rules applied consistently across every season.
The worst-performing condition we found: TBD starting pitchers. We never recommend a pick when the starting pitcher is not confirmed. That rule is permanent.
